I am a financial statements auditor in the Assurance Audit Services Group, currently assigned to the Home Affairs portfolio.

Working in the public service means being exposed to a variety of subject areas and being flexible to changing priorities and work.

I love working with people to assist them to get outcomes which benefit their business units, the COO and ultimately the department.

Working in the Methodology division allows me to thrive and grow as a statistician. There are plenty of learning opportunities in the form of internal courses, workshops and seminars.

As an ATO employee, I play a part in contributing to an efficient tax system which helps the government provide essential services to the public like roads, hospitals and schools.

I think the important thing about being here is to accept that you won't know the ‘tricks’ of the consulting trade until you keep at it.
