Kick Start Your Career

The KPMG Vacation Program is your first step in shaping a career full of meaningful work and joining in our commitment to support our clients’ growth in a way that not only enhances our nation’s economic prosperity, but builds trust while benefiting society, people and the environment. Because how you grow matters.

It's with this common purpose you could join the KPMG team to help companies plan sustainable pathways to value and growth.

We foster a diverse, inclusive and forward-thinking culture, with our people giving their time and specialisation to help communities grow and prosper.

The Vacation Program Opportunity

At KPMG, we want you to discover the path to career growth that excites you most. After all, when you find a practice area you love, you’ll reach your potential – faster.

Working out of one of our divisions over the summer, you'll join some of the brightest minds and be part of a team working across an exciting and diverse client list. You’ll be dealing with complex issues that will stretch your thinking, and you will have the opportunity to learn and develop your professional capabilities.

About You

Attitude is every bit as important as ability at KPMG. Being a team player, having passion for what you do and a desire to continuously improve will take you far. We draw strength from our differences and welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds and degree disciplines. We know that if you love to learn and genuinely want to make an impact – you'll feel right at home from day one.

About Us

At KPMG Australia, we help our clients not just grow, but grow meaningfully – consciously, collaboratively, transparently and empathetically. It’s our deep belief that how you grow matters.

Our people are focused on creating a dynamic environment that embraces differences. We value the variety of unique experiences, qualities and characteristics our people possess, and we share and learn from each other.

The way we grow is through our values.

  • Integrity: what we do is right.
  • Together: we respect each other and draw strength from our differences.
  • Courage: we think and act boldly.
  • Excellence: we never stop learning.
  • For Better: what we do matters.

We live these values through everything we do, and specifically through specialist programs created to highlight the fact that we walk the talk, including:

  • Pride@KPMG – a network for employees of all sexual orientations and gender identities.
  • Jawun – a not-for-profit that works with Indigenous communities which our people have the opportunity to work with.
  • Bird-Walton Program – a program designed to empower high potential women.

We are proud to be consistently recognised as an employer of choice for women, and for our achievements in LGBT+ workplace inclusion.

It's nice to be able to finish a job and sit back and look at all the work that was done, all of the setbacks that may have happened and look at the final outcome that the client is happy with and be proud of the work you accomplished.
